1. Introduction
At Madame Cocker, we are committed to providing high-quality services for your pets while ensuring transparency, safety, and customer satisfaction. These general terms define the rights and obligations of both parties.
By accepting these terms, the client confirms they have read, understood, and accepted all the conditions.
2. Purpose of the Agreement
These general terms govern the services provided by Madame Cocker, including:
For dogs:

Outdoor activities: forest walks, games, beach outings, agility training, swimming, and puppy sessions

Transport: pick-up and drop-off at agreed times

Safety: use of harnesses and safety protocols
For cats:
-
Home visits: feeding, litter cleaning, cuddles or playtime

Duration: approximately 15 minutes
This contract is governed by Belgian law and applicable European regulations.
3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Madame Cocker website (text, graphics, design) is the exclusive property of the company.

Redistribution, reproduction, or modification without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Viewing and printing content is allowed for personal use only.
4. Insurance and Trial Session

Insurance:
Subscriptions include insurance coverage for incidents during daycare activities, but do not cover:
-
Pre-existing or undeclared health issues
-
Injuries caused by other dogs (unless due to proven negligence)
-
Damage or losses outside service hours or unrelated to the daycare
-
Vet fees unless directly caused by gross negligence
Clients are encouraged to have their own pet health insurance.

Mandatory Trial Session:
All new dogs must complete a 4-hour trial session (€30) to evaluate compatibility with the group. This is required before any subscription begins.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Dogs:
-
1-month subscription: No break included
-
3-month subscription: Includes one 2-week break (no payment due during that time)

6-month subscription: Includes one 3-week break usable at any time
All payments must be made in advance via bank transfer or other agreed methods.
Fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional cases with written agreement.
Cats:

Available packages: 1 visit / 10 visits / 20 visits

Fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable

In case of late payment (5+ days), services will be suspended until payment is received.
6. Pick-Up and Drop-Off for Dogs

Exact pick-up and drop-off times depend on the client’s location and will be confirmed in advance.

Flexibility is required due to traffic and logistical factors.
Half-day: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM or 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
Full-day: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Note: The exact duration may vary depending on the group and transport logistics.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations up to 2 weeks before the service are free.

Cancellations within 2 weeks of the service incur a €10 cancellation fee.

Last-minute bookings are possible up to 48 hours before the requested date.

Frequent cancellations may limit future availability.
Extreme weather conditions (storms, heatwaves, etc.) may result in cancelled outings for safety reasons. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Subscription fees (1, 3, or 6 months) are non-refundable. Missed sessions or absences are not reimbursed.
8. Client Responsibilities
For dogs:

Provide accurate information: name, microchip, special needs, vet contact, emergency contact

Ensure safe access for pick-up or follow the agreed procedure

Communicate any health or behavioral instructions in advance
For cats:

Ensure secure home access
-
Provide complete and accurate care information
9. Acceptance of Risks

Group activities may involve minor risks (scratches, fatigue, behavioral interactions)
-
Madame Cocker is not liable for consequences arising from incorrect or omitted client information.
10. Injury or Death of an Animal
Injury:
-
First aid will be provided immediately. The client will be contacted as soon as possible.

If necessary, the dog will be taken to the nearest veterinarian.
-
All medical costs are the responsibility of the owner, unless negligence is proven.
Death:
-
The client will be contacted immediately and the dog transported to a veterinarian.
-
Madame Cocker is not liable for death due to pre-existing health conditions or unforeseen accidents.
Clients are strongly encouraged to have pet health insurance.
11. Use of Images and Videos
By accepting these terms, the client authorizes Madame Cocker to use photos or videos of their pet for marketing purposes (website, social media, etc.).
You may opt out by notifying us in writing before the service starts.
12. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, breakdowns), services may be suspended. Activities will resume once conditions permit.
13. Abandonment Policy
If a dog is not collected within 15 days and no arrangement is made, Madame Cocker reserves the right to rehome the animal in accordance with Belgian law.
All associated costs remain the client's responsibility.
14. Data Protection
In line with GDPR:

You can request access, correction, or deletion at any time
15. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Belgian law, clients have 14 days to withdraw from the agreement unless the service has already begun.
If you request the service to begin immediately, you explicitly waive this right.
Final Clause
By using our services and checking the acceptance box, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
