What is Madame Cocker?Madame Cocker is a unique outdoor dog daycare that works just like a little doggie school! Our specially equipped bus picks your pup up from home and takes them on fun-filled adventures: exploring nature, playing with friends, and enjoying the outdoors like in a giant schoolyard. We offer two types of “school days”: Half-Day Care (3–4 hours): This is the option we recommend for most dogs. The active part of the day — which includes walks, play, and exploration - lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. That might not sound like much to us humans, but for dogs, it’s a full workout : mentally, physically, and socially! The rest of the time is spent calmly on the bus: getting picked up, relaxing, and traveling between locations. Most pups are perfectly tired and fulfilled after a half-day. Full-Day Care (7–8 hours): This is available when you need a longer care option. Some dogs can enjoy a full day, but many do better with the shorter, less intense half-day format : avoiding overstimulation or exhaustion..

Do you have a physical daycare center? We believe dogs shouldn’t spend their days indoors, but rather out exploring, sniffing, playing, and socializing in nature. Our daycare is built around outdoor adventures, fresh air, and enriching experiences — not four walls and a floor. A physical center might be part of our future... but for now, we’re proud to offer an open-air, mobile daycare that puts your dog’s happiness and natural instincts first.

How many dogs are in each group?Just like in a good classroom, we keep our groups small and cozy — usually between 6 to 10 dogs per class. This ensures every pup gets plenty of attention, care, and space to play safely. Spots fill up fast, so we always recommend joining the waiting list early!

How does the pick-up and drop-off work? Our trusty doggie school bus picks up your pup right from your home — it's not just a ride, it's an adventure on wheels! 🐾🚌 We adapt to your setup: We usually come directly to your door, whether you live in a house or an apartment If you prefer, we can also meet your dog outside — just let us know what works best for you And if you're not home, we're used to handling keys (lockboxes, access codes, or key exchanges — whatever’s easiest) You'll receive a message about 10 minutes before arrival, so you’re always in the loop!
-
What areas do you cover? We’re wagging our tails across Etterbeek, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Auderghem, Watermael-Boitsfort, Ixelles, Schaerbeek, and Kraainem. If you’re outside these areas, give us a bark — we’re always looking to expand our pack!

What’s the schedule for pick-up and drop-off?Here’s how a typical day rolls at Madame Cocker: Morning pick-up: between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM Midday pick-up: between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM Midday drop-off: between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM Afternoon drop-off: between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM That said, these times are flexible. We're working with dogs — living, feeling creatures — so things don’t always run on exact minutes. Some days are full of surprises: a pup might take a little longer to settle, a joyful reunion may take a moment, or we simply pause for a sniff-filled moment in nature. We always prioritize safety, calm, and care over strict timing — and we’ll always keep you informed along the way 🐾

What should my dog bring to daycare?Just like kids heading off to school, your pup has a little supply list! 🎒 Here’s what to pack: A harness – For safety during the bus ride (every dog is secured with a seatbelt). Poop bags – Because even the best days need a cleanup crew 💩 A long leash – If your dog needs a bit of extra space during walks or training. These simple essentials help us make sure your dog’s day is safe, comfy, and full of fun!
-
Is the bus safe for dogs?Absolutely! Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities on every ride 🐶🚌 Here’s how we make sure every journey is both secure and cozy: Each dog is safely secured with a seatbelt attached to their harness Dogs have their own seat or share one with a trusted friend, depending on their character and space available Seating is arranged with care, based on temperament, size, and compatibility Every seat is made extra comfy with pillows and soft covers — no matter the size of the dog Fresh water is always available on board Smaller dogs can enjoy their own snug little basket for extra reassurance The atmosphere stays calm and joyful, with gentle handling and positive energy throughout the ride

What are the conditions for joining the daycare? To make sure everyone has a safe and happy time, we ask that: Your dog is friendly and generally comes when called (don’t worry — perfection isn’t required!). A trial day is part of the process, so we can make sure your pup feels comfortable with us. Before the trial, we’ll have a quick 20-minute home visit to meet your dog and your family in their own environment — a relaxed way to get to know each other. And if your dog needs a bit more time or support, we’re happy to recommend a behaviorist to help ease the transition gently and positively.
-
What are the health requirements? To keep our pack healthy, your dog needs to be up-to-date on all their vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and kennel cough). Regular deworming is also a must to keep the daycare environment safe for all our furry friends.
-
What subscription options do you offer? We’ve got plans as flexible as your pup’s favorite chew toy! 🦴 1-Month Subscription – Perfect for a test run or short-term care. 3-Month Subscription – Great for regular, reliable care. 6-Month Subscription – For the ultimate year-round fun and frolics! 10-Pass Package – Ideal for occasional visits without commitment.
-
When can I enroll my dog?Enrollment is open year-round, but spots are limited — we welcome only 10 pups per group to keep things cozy and safe. We recommend joining the waiting list as early as possible so your dog can start their adventures with us as soon as a spot opens up. Because tail wags and new friendships are worth the wait! 🐾
-
Is there a trial period?Absolutely! We offer a half-day trial to make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and comfortable in our pack. It’s a great way to see if we’re the right match for your pup — and vice versa! The trial costs 30€ and includes a few hours of fun, sniffing, and social time 🐾
