Terms and Conditions of Service
for Madame Cocker Doggy Daycare

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling your dog in the daycare services provided by Madame Cocker, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please review them carefully to ensure you understand all policies and procedures.

2. Services Offered

Madame Cocker offers outdoor-focused daycare services, including:

  • Walks in forests and the countryside

  • Group play in a private area in the countryside

  • Ball sessions (play sessions involving fetching and other ball activities)

  • Beach outings

  • Class verte (nature-based educational activities)

  • Swimming in lakes (weather permitting)

  • Agility training

  • Specialized puppy sessions

We also provide a reliable pick-up and drop-off service for your dog. Specific pick-up and drop-off times may vary depending on your location and will be confirmed upon booking.

3. Enrollment Requirements

  • Vaccinations: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and kennel cough. Proof of vaccinations is required prior to the first daycare session.

  • Health: Dogs must be in good health and free from contagious conditions. Any dog showing signs of illness will be refused entry until a veterinarian certifies they are fit to return.

  • Behavior: Dogs must be fully socialized, have reliable recall (the ability to come when called), and show no significant behavioral issues. If your dog has minor behavioral challenges, we can recommend one of our partnered behaviorists to work with your dog before joining the daycare.

4. Insurance and Trial

  • Insurance: The subscription fee includes the insurance required to cover any incidents during daycare activities.

  • Mandatory Trial: A mandatory 4-hour trial session is required for all new dogs to ensure they are a good fit with the current group of dogs at the daycare. This trial session costs €30 and must be completed before subscribing to a plan.

5. Subscription and Payments

  • Subscription Plans:

    • 2-month subscription: Includes no break.

    • 6-month subscription: Includes a 1-week break that can be used at any time during the period without payment obligations for that week.

    • 12-month subscription: Includes a 2-week break that can be used at any time during the year without payment obligations for those weeks.

  • Automatic Payment: Payments are made automatically via bank transfer at the start of the subscription period (for 2, 6, or 12 months).

  • Late Payment: If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date, the subscription may be suspended until full payment is made.

6. Pick-up and Drop-off

  • Pick-up/Drop-off: Specific pick-up and drop-off times may vary depending on your location and will be confirmed upon booking.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. However, since our services are provided through monthly subscriptions, no refunds will be given for cancellations within the subscription period.

  • No Refund for Subscription Services: Once you subscribe to a 2, 6, or 12-month plan, no refunds are available for any cancellations or missed outings.

  • Weather Conditions: In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy storms or heat waves) that could endanger the health of your dog, the outing will be canceled for safety reasons. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for weather-related cancellations, as this is done in the best interest of the dogs' well-being.

8. Liability

  • Injury or Illness: While Madame Cocker takes every precaution to ensure the safety of all dogs during outdoor activities and transport, we are not liable for injuries or illnesses unless due to gross negligence.

  • Property Damage: We are not responsible for damage to personal belongings left with your dog during their daycare stay.

9. Owner Responsibilities

  • Emergency Contact: Owners must provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact information. In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to contact the owner or emergency contact. If neither can be reached, we will seek immediate veterinary care at the owner's expense.

  • Special Instructions: Any special instructions (e.g., behavioral needs, restrictions) must be communicated before the pick-up. Madame Cocker is not responsible for unmet requests if instructions are not clearly communicated.

10. Service Guarantee

We strive to provide reliable services at all times. In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill our agreed services due to an error on our part, we will take responsibility to ensure an appropriate resolution, such as rescheduling or providing a substitute service at no additional cost.

However, we are not liable for delays or missed services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters or severe weather conditions

  • Strikes or other industrial actions

  • Incorrect information provided by the client

  • Road closures, traffic accidents, or unforeseen technical issues

It is recommended that you have appropriate insurance coverage to account for these situations.

11. User Account and Security

If you register for an account with us, it is your responsibility to keep your username and password confidential. We are not liable for any unauthorized use of your account resulting in financial or legal implications. Please inform us immediately if you suspect any breach of security or unauthorized access to your account.

12. Liability and Warranties

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or reputation, arising from the use or inability to use our services. Any damages will be limited to the amount you have paid for the service within the last six months.

16. Injury or Death of a Dog

While Madame Cocker takes every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, there are inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, transportation, and group play.

  • Injury: If a dog is injured during daycare, Madame Cocker will take immediate action, including providing basic first aid and contacting the owner or emergency contact. If necessary, we will transport the dog to the nearest veterinary facility for care at the owner's expense. Madame Cocker is not liable for any veterinary fees unless the injury is the result of gross negligence by our staff.

  • Death: In the unfortunate event that a dog passes away while in our care, Madame Cocker will take every step to notify the owner or emergency contact immediately and arrange for the dog to be taken to the nearest veterinarian for proper care. We are not liable for the death of a dog due to underlying health conditions or accidents that are beyond our control.

It is recommended that you have adequate insurance coverage, such as pet health insurance, to cover any potential medical emergencies.
